Good morning,

I come to you hoping to find some help...
I finally have my first order! When clicking on "place order automatically' I follow the process which asks me to add the delivery address (I therefore enter the address of the customer who ordered on my site). Then comes the choice of the method payment, I have to make the advance and pay for the product with my own funds? Because I thought that the payment gateway was also automatically managed by Alidropship.
Thank you in advance for this confirmation.

(Sorry for my english)

Hi, thank you for reaching out!

Yes, you need to pay from your own funds to place an order on AliExpress.

We only managing integration of payment gateway, but we do not have access to you bank or payment gateway account

Payment solutions can be a real puzzle sometimes, but once you crack it, smooth sailing ahead! From my experience, it's all about finding what works best for you and your biz. Whether it's PayPal, Stripe, or something else entirely, each has its perks and quirks. Personally, I've found that flexibility is key, especially when dealing with international customers. So, take your time, do some research, and you'll find the perfect fit! Cheers to hassle-free payments!

Good morning,

Congratulations on your first order!

Regarding your question, when using platforms like Alidropship, typically, the payment gateway is responsible for processing payments from your customers, but the way the payment works may depend on how you've set up your store. Generally, when a customer places an order on your site, they will pay through the payment gateway you’ve integrated (like PayPal, Stripe, etc.), and you don’t need to pay for the product yourself in advance.

However, in some dropshipping models, you may need to make the payment to the supplier after the customer has placed their order, using your funds. But, as for the payment gateway, it should handle the transaction between your customer and your store automatically, so you don’t need to manually process payments for each order.

If you’re looking to streamline payment processing, I would recommend looking into payment gateway options like https://paymentgateways.org/, which can offer a smooth, secure way to handle transactions for both you and your customers.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
