Yes, duplicating the product is the way to do it, then just deleting the variations you don't want. I don't think it will be a problem re updates... I'm probably going to try it on a new store over the weekend. I'll post if there's any issues...

I don't think it is a problem with the plugin, it seems to be the extension. I've been thinking, I'm using XP and Chrome is no longer updated, could that be the problem? I can work round the doubling up problem, but my concern is when it comes to placing orders on Aliexpress - will it double up...

There's nothing more heartbreaking than creating the perfect looking site on desktop, then finding it doesn't look quite right on mobile, but mobile is king now, so it has to be done. ... I hate messing with css!
