Hi legends, hope you are doing great.
Recently stripe has started to add other payment options.
Afterpay is one of it.
Afterpay is buy now pay later option for the customers.

so my default currency is setup in USD, but I live in Australia.

and my stripe account is registered in australia.

so stripe says the default currency of the store should be in the currency of registered country. Only then stripe will be able to show the afterpay payment option

can we change the default database currency ?
As I saw on the alidropship plug-in, it says we should not change the default database currency.

Has anybody came through this issue ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I'm curious—did anyone manage to get Afterpay working with AliDropship via Stripe? I’m looking into this now and not finding many clear steps. Would love to hear if anyone found a workaround or if there are any updates from Stripe or AliDropship that might make this easier in 2024.

I had the same setup and managed to get Afterpay added through Stripe by enabling it in the payment methods section of the dashboard. It worked without extra code changes. What helped was customizing the payment flow a bit—Antom lets you create customized checkout experiences, so you can tweak what shows based on your customer’s location or what they’re buying.
