Higher Prices with API order !!

Hello, has anyone of you already checked what prices are paid with API ordering?

I just did and found out, that ordering via API is unfortunately more expensive via than a manual Aliexpress-order.


Through the API I had to pay 20,43 Euro.

Then I ordered manually the same and the price was only 19,12 Euro, indeed less coins I only had to pay 18,73 Euro.


For the very same item and shipping adress!!


This is more than just some few cents. /-:

I fear, the API is useless, if it cannot use coins or other discounts that we might have quired on Aliexpress.

Give it a try. Order via API, then do not pay.
Order again manually.

When the manual order is cheaper, you can just pay it and cancel the one from the API. So everything is fine.

It would be interesting to see if that happens generally and for everyone, or just from time to time.

Hey, how did you manage to get the price in EUR? i can only get the price in USD. This whole API system is really broken, too bad..

Hello, the price in Euro is no problem. Just let the order happen in USD, when you then really pay Ali switches it to Euro. If this does not happen automatically, change payment method back and forward and then it works. :)

(Meanwhile usually the price of the API order is okay, but sometimes discounts are not used unfortunately).

Nope i tried but can confirm that my bank was charged in USD rather than in EUR.
Honestly this plugin was amazing 4 years ago, now it's really full of bugs and really lacks some basic maintenance or help tooltips to explain the way to bypass issues

I am using a credit card and the payment switches to Euro, when I choose another credit card - and stays with euro when I switch back to the card, I usually use.

Maybe you can contact the support directly, also with your other problems?

(Of course, Euro is my shop currency in WooCommerce and - important - Alidropship).
