My suggestion would be to not waste money on a vps. It's overkill and not required really.

Yaros and his team did a great job to mitigate the affects the update would have on your hosting but there are a lot of factors that could be causing the issue. You should not have to disable it though. You will have to check everything on your end first and then it would be your web hosts turn.

Agreed with Yaros and also i would change the header layout. It just takes up too much room now. I also found product descriptions that just had #needload# in them.

If you haven't started importing products yet then you have no issues with just simply switching. If you have imported products then unfortunately you will have to start fresh and import them again.

I haven't updated yet so don't know if there will be any issues but would have to agree with @anonymous1971 to make it an option that can be turned off and on.

Out of curiosity, if it was the theme you used, why not just change the theme in the existing install?

NO IDEA, and the suggestion to just delete the products and empty the trash makes no sense either. I even tried a archive plugin and guess what......THE PRODUCTS WERE UPDATED and moved from the archive and back to draft. WTH. @Yaros can you please take a look.

Yep this would make sense. Give an option to have Auto update prices only if the cost on Aliexpress goes up.

Hey, Images are always a huge cause of speed issues. Make sure your are not using unnecessarily huge dimensions. And check their file size, optimize if needed. Plugins/extensions can also cause a slow down Another giant factor can be hosting. Start with the images and then go from there.

Yep, nothing wrong with payment gateway. Unfortunately it's the website. Store name doesn't help (Stuffs) and with only 2 products and the fake sales popup. It just doesn't make a buyer trust the site.

Sometimes the preview does not update but if you save and refresh, you will see that it indeed changed.

Thats, right. You have to spend the time to clean everything up manually and create a serious store/business.
