Updating to php 7.1 breaks linked images

Hi,

I decided to push my store to be php 7.1.22. I am not live right now but would rather get this out of the way before I launch.

When i do i lose all the linked images that was on the site. But when i revert back to 5.6 they all come back. I need to know how to fix the images once I change to php 7.1

You migrated your site to PHP7.1 but you did not mention if you installed the compatible plugin.

The email that has the download link only provides one version. I dont have an option to download a 7.1 version.

Before i do this can you please confirm that all the settings and everything will be fine if I just replace the current plugin

Just delete, remove and replace the old plugin, nothing will be lost. You can also search the forum about it. It has been discussed maybe a million times
