Updating AliPlugin

Hi guys, another noob question here...
If I downloaded the plugin update how can I apply the downloaded update file on my Wordpress site without loosing any settings already made?
My site is almost done so I don't want to ruin it because of plugin update.

BTW, I tried already tried update via Wordpress panel and it's not working (already contacted SiteGround support for this). It only times out.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Just remove the current version and install a new one. It will not affect your settings and databases.
