I made another post earlier about the Ships From Attributes.
But now I have another issue.
My store offers FREE SHIPPING. My store markups enough to cover any products that don't have free shipping as an option.
I started to use the Ships From attributes (renamed to Your Location), as I have noticed alot of customers would prefer to have items shipped from their country - so in the post I linked above, I was just noticing weird behaviour on a few products I tried this option on. This post is not about that.
When I reset one of my products I had two ship from locations. I also using Alidropship Shipping plugin to import paid shipping costs, so my customers have more options available to them with faster shipping.
The issue I have on one such product where I have done the ships from is the item cost and shipping costs are so very different.
The product Price is different:
Item Cost China is: $1.68 Cents US
Item Cost Australia is $0.54 Cents US
Shipping Cost are both very different.
Item Cost China Shipping: $0.91 US ( I can absorb this shipping cost due to my markup to still be able to allow free shipping)
Item Cost Australia Shipping $135.00 US - eek can't absorb this cost.
How can I work around this? Obviously, they have a choice to have the item come from China or Australia - but the shipping cost is not been reflected and I can't ship and $135 shipping cost for Free. I did contact the seller to see if they had made a mistake in their shipping costs. Because that price seems extreme for internal shipping within Australia,
I am going through all 150 of my products to do the whole Ship From - and I don't want to have to manually adjust pricing - as I like the price adjusting automatically when a supplier ups or lowers their prices. If I do it manually then I will always need to check these products to adjust myself all the time and I simply do not have the time.
Look forward to hearing some solutions on this.
