Been on AliDropship for a while before making the switch to Sellvia so figured I'd share where I'm at after 8 months on the platform.
Coming from AliDropship
The biggest adjustment honestly is the mindset shift. With AliDropship you're used to having full control - your store, your products, your hosting, everything is yours. Sellvia is a different model. You're renting access to a ready-built ecosystem with a digital product catalog. Less control, but also a lot less setup and maintenance headache.
For people deep into AliDropship customization it might feel limiting. For me personally I got tired of the technical side and wanted something I could just run without touching code every other week.
What's genuinely better
Support has improved a lot. Coming from AliDropship where support could be slow, the response times on Sellvia now are noticeably faster - usually under an hour in my experience. Big deal when something breaks or you need a quick answer.
Product pages are done for you. No sourcing, no writing descriptions, no hunting for images. If you've spent hours on AliDropship building out product pages you'll appreciate this immediately.
What I miss from AliDropship
Ownership. With AliDropship your store is yours forever once you buy the plugin. With Sellvia the moment you stop paying $39/month everything goes dark. That's just the SaaS model but it's a real psychological difference if you're used to owning your setup.
Also customization. AliDropship gives you way more flexibility on store design and product selection. Sellvia is more locked in by comparison.
Bottom line
If you're coming from AliDropship and want more control and ownership - stick with AliDropship. If you're burned out on the technical maintenance side and want something more turnkey - Sellvia is worth trying, the 14 day trial costs you nothing to find out.
Both have their place honestly. Different tools for different stages.
