better try to buy something for yourself from aliexpress and see if it works.

usually every international card will work. if it doesn't work. google the term how to enable cross border transactions or international transaction on your debit card

Try contacting the bank first ask them that does your card support international shopping? if not ask them to activate it. they might charge you but it will be minimum. even i am going to replace my previous card with the international shopping one.
