Notification emails not sending in HTML

Hi again,

On testing the system when it sends a notification email after I place an order or change order status to shipped for example
the email is not arriving in HTML, but is ariving with all the html coding. I am using SendGrid.

Any ideas?

I'm also anxiously awaiting an update on this. I have held off marking orders shipped until this is fixed so good emails can be sent.

as far as I can tell, it's gmail not accepting <style> tags. converting to inline Css "should" work. I will try it when I get home.

I don't use gmail.

I use Mailgun and emails are displayed in html (tested on Hotmail).

I think this issue have to be fixed as soon as possible as it could be critical. I can't imagine on customer's side when they see the message in a total messy (HTML text) and would be afraid to make more purchase from the store. I have one of my customer replied me back and asked to resend the email after he purchased from my store.

Did changing the template to use inline styles fix GMail for you?

I agree with @Glady - unfortunately most of my customers use GMail, so the fact it is OK in other mail clients doesn't help.
