disable or delete variation

hi,
if i don't want a particular product, should i simply delete it or just disable it? i'm afraid that if i delete it, when i sync my products, it will just reappear.

Check out this thread. Personally, I deleted the ones I didn't want, but do not change it to a simple product or it will break the sync. Need to stay as a variation.
