It means you can use formula for creating zero prices and in this case they will be shown on a product page as Free shipping.

Okay so there is no real option for free + shipping?

I have been fighting with woocommerce for days and eventually just gave up on the method.

What i would like to do is have general free shipping, except for the products that i promote in F+S way

Any tips or pointers on how to achieve that would be highly appreciated by me

so we can do an exception, free products, but with shipping price for them?

I believe you can make a shipping class, put a product you want to add shipping to to this class and assign shipping fee for the class.

Tried it can't make it work, i really don't understand why this has to be so freaking complicated (the whole shipping deal that is)
