2 shops on one domain

I would like to have 2 shops on one domain, one in the main domain and one in a subfolder, the subdomain is related to my niche but i need a different landingpage for it then the normal flatsome product pages

Do i now have to buy two licenses?

Because i tried and when i wanna activate mydomain.com/shop it says wrong site

As much as I know that licenses are tied up with domain name so if the license granted for www.yourdomain.com then it with not work with www.yourdomain.com/subdomain ....... nothing is truly free in this world!

My bad for poorly formulating, it is not a subdomain but a subfolder on the SAME domain

maybe the license do some trick with DNS, subfolder/subdomain is not a part of DNS entry. @Yaros can shade more lights on this topic.

The license does not work with sub-folders. You need to use domain or sub-domain.
