Here's something I've been wondering about.
Everyone gets excited about their first 10, 50, or 100 orders. But how many store owners actually know which products are making them money?
Let's say you sell a product for $35.
Supplier cost: $12
Shipping: $5
Payment processing: $1.50
Advertising cost per sale: $13
That leaves just $3.50 before refunds, hosting, and other expenses.
One refund could wipe out the profit from several successful orders.
And here's the tricky part: your WordPress dashboard might show growing sales while your bank account tells a completely different story.
I'm curious how other AliDropship users deal with this.
Do you track profit for every product or just look at your overall store revenue?
A few more questions:
When do you decide a product isn't worth selling anymore?
Do you include refunds and chargebacks in your calculations?
Have you ever discovered that your bestselling product was barely profitable?
Would a built-in profit calculator in AliDropship actually help?
I think beginners spend too much time looking for winning products and not enough time figuring out whether those products are worth keeping.
Would love to hear how you guys handle this, especially if you've been running your store for a while.
