[urgent] Paypal personal

I tried to do a test on payments
Note: I used paypal personal api documentation
1. How do you guys test if payment is successfully setup with
1.1 paypal
1.2 2checkout ( i know there is a demo mode, but how do you test it before going live etc)
2. I tried to buy something via paypal (personal) and all it kept ding was "return to merchant"

I would like to know as well please how you test your setup if it is a succes or not :) Cheers, i use business individual.

Well not as of now - and am totally stuck..
I spoke to paypal -
In India we cannot receive payments directly via paypal ( any indian Alids users - please pitch iin too)

Not sure if its post update or what!

i updated he ne version of alids toay, and tried payment for a test product.
I am always directed to this pic page:
http://prntscr.com/i9s2w3

so basically the payment doesnt go through :(

Any update folks?
I have written to paypal - yet to hear from them.
But my alids shows active on paypal - but payment never completes
updated it to premier account to - still same :(
