updated alidropship plugin not working

I am having a major problem updating the alidropship plugin. I had a problem with my site as some of the functions of the alidropship plugin stopped working. Alidropship support told me to update the plugin, which I did. The site then stoped working completely. Support then told me to update the PHP settings for my site in my hosting cpanel, which I did. The site will still not work. Support then informed me that the ioncube loader needs to be 10.2.7 or higher. I contacted my hosting company and they are only able to provide ioncube 10.2.1. I am now trying to reinstate my site to the condition it was before I loaded the update. Whatever I do I keep getting the message 'ioncube not found' when I activate the plugin. I have done the checks that are suggested and ioncube loader is working (albeit version 10.2.1 and not 10.2.7). I have no idea what to do now to try to get my site up and running again. Any suggestions please as i am currently getting nowhere!
