Update WP to 4.9.4

Hi there,
I noticed there is a update sign with WP on Dashboard->Updates and a important note about doing backup DB and files before update WP to 4.9.4
I am wondering which way is the best and simple to do it. UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin is the good one? Who can give some suggestions? Thanks.

If your plan with your webhost don't include free back up and restore, Updraft WordPress Backup Plugin is very good for you. I am using it, have saved me a number of times. Setup is very simple and when the time come to restore anything on your site, it is always there and sure.

It says backup your db & files to cloud, so do I need to register a cloud provider and pay for the storage Thanks.

There's a lot of remote storage, these are all optional. The default backup storage is the web-server disk space.

I'm not sure. I am using the default storage and it is free. Using Updraft backup is free unless you choose the premium version or a paid backup storage.
