'Update issues' utility to filter Products with changes in AliE not working for us on AliWoo.

[* @admin: not sure if re-posting in another forum violates any rules but we realized it might be more on topic here; if it does, feel free to delete. Thanks.]

This might be repetitious but we just realized that our posts on the subject might be in the wrong forum - ADS Original instead of ADS Woo, also a slightly different topic there. We are using AliWoo plugin and the issue has to do with the new 'Updates issues' utility as described. Our original post on this followed a comment on a related matter in the AliDropship Plugin forum and we added a few more posts on the matter affecting our site (#24, #26). Our issue relates to the utility in AliWoo, not the original plugin so we think it's better served in this forum.

The gist of it is that the "Update issues' utility is not filtering out the Products that have changes in AliE reflected in the 'Update status' column of the Products List page - at least it's not working on our site. Staff member @Victoria Kudryashova is looking at it for us. We would like to know if anyone using the updated AliWoo is experiencing the same or is it just our site - that would help us troubleshoot since if it's only us, then maybe there are conflicts with our setup and probably nothing to do with the plugin.

To recap:

A manual check through a portion of our Products show that some have Variations, some Attributes and/or Prices changed on AliE - and when we tried to Filter out a list so we can attend to them one by one, the Filter returns "No products found" (see screenshot)

We tried for 'Attributes' and 'Stock is zero' (some products were listed 'Out of Stock') but 'Filter' returned 'No products found' as well.

One other thing we noticed. Some products which were labelled 'Out of stock' in the list (they were 'in stock' on AliE) did not have an 'Update status' entry - the rest of the 'Out of stock' products had an entry which said "Variation for Product disappeared on AliExpress. Variation was disabled." We got the 'Out of stock' list by way of 'Filter by stock status' - shouldn't this same list appear by filtering 'Update issues' > 'Stock is zero' or 'Variations changed'? When we tried these, filter returned 'No products found'. Strange.

Anyone else experiencing this?

UPDATE:
We came across an exception to the issue - the 'Update issues' utility does filter for Products with a 'red notice' in the 'Update status' column!

Hello, let me clarify this issue: we've implemented these statuses because sometimes (e.g. when product is gone from AE, or new attributes is added - and product can't be updated because of this, etc.) products can't be updated properly. They (for different reasons and these reasons are our Update issues) can't by synced with AliExpress. So, to make it easier for you - to understand why is that we added those statuses. It's not a usual update status - it's a reason to check the product and to compare what you have in your store and how it looks like on AliExpress.

Thanks for your quick reply, Victoria.

So you are saying that the idea of having this 'Update status' (which is a really good idea) is just to give a hint that something needs to be done (presumably, update variations, attributes, price, etc.) for the product as there are changes on it in AE - better than having to dig through hundreds of products one by one to find out. That makes sense. We were one of the first to say that it was a great idea :)

Okay, so we don't need to worry what is written in the 'Update status' column - red or no red notices, whatever - just accept that products with update issues will be highlighted in that column - fair enough.

We were just wondering why the 'Update issues' FILTER does not work as it should.

SUMMARY
(1) Having the 'Update status' column to mark which product has update issues is definitely a great help and an awesome time-saver since we don't have to open the product page one by one.
(2) You guys went one step further and provided an 'Update issues' filter which would bring all the products with the same issues in one list so we don't have to turn pages to find out which ones - and in the last update,
(3) you even introduced a 'Reset' bulk action option which is fantastic!

BUT sadly, we are not able to take advantage of (2) and (3) because we can't get (2) to work! That is the question we have been asking.

Thank you for looking further into this.

Suggestion:

After we apply the [ Block action > Reset ] option in the Products List for a product with a remark in the 'Update status' column (i.e. something changed in AliE for that product while we were sleeping), the product gets updated and all's well. BUT the 'remark' in the 'Update status' column remains - shouldn't it refresh with a note in red that says 'Reset on (date)' or maybe even become blank until the utility detects a fresh change in AliE after the latest reset?

The 'remark' is headed by a date (presumably when the change on AliE was detected) but if we had done a reset and it stays the same, there's no way of telling if it's a fresh variation or the old one (which we had reset) because unless you take pains to copy and paste all these remarks into a text file with notes on which of them were updated/reset when and keep checking, you cannot possibly tell a couple of days later if you had reset which one.

So, how about ..
1. Make the 'remark' in the 'Update status' column go away once a Reset is done for the product, OR
2. include a note that says 'Reset on xx/xx/xx' so we know this change has been dealt with (Reset) and when it was done :)

Makes sense?
Possible?
