Split products isn't helpful if you can't split products with (S/M/L/XL/XXL/XXXL)

There needs to be a way to split a product but combine other variations with it.

Example:
Split a jeans variations but combine other variations such as S/M/L/XL/XXL/XXXL. Checkbox or something to select them perhaps.

I don't understand which of these articles apply to my problem.

Example:
T-Shirt with 4 colors and different sizes: S/M/L/XL/XXL/XXXL

And I want each of those colors to have (S/M/L/XL/XXL/XXXL) after I split them.

I have emailed the support team for this problem, I'll leave a solution if they answer.
