To be honest I have never seen this much spam in any forum. The lack of effort (sorry but that's what it seems like) to prevent it is also a huge reason this forum is dying. Sometimes the posts stay for days before they are actually deleted.
I usually have to scroll 2-3 pages when filtered by new posts to actually find posts by users that are looking for help. Sometimes i don't even bother anymore as the spam is just out of control. I even offered a few times to moderate spam posts but that went nowhere.
