Sale is a noun, sell is a verb (simple present) and sold is the simple past and past participle form of sell, e.g, I'm going to sell my car and buy a new one. The sales of our new product are slowly increasing. This watch is normally $100, but it's on sale for $70.What is the difference between sale and sell? Which word would use right in the marketplace?

People asking basic questions in forums, Facebook comment sections, Youtube comment sections, etc, and then waiting days, weeks or months for a reply, if any at all, when they could have got the answer in 5 seconds via a simple Google search. #DumbandDumberI guess some people have taken this forum as another form of google/bing search
