But even if you do have a problem...good hosts should be able to fix it. e.g. I had problems with SSL not working on 5 out of 8 sites when I moved to Hostgator Cloud recently. An hour with Online Support and it was all fixed. No other problems since.

PS.. Don't waste your time with Hostgator Shared Hosting, it's crap. Only their Cloud Hosting is good. Maybe because it's new. :)

I'd do a bit more shopping around if I was you. Don't jump to Siteground because one person (me) says so. Everyone has different needs. There are plenty of comparison sites around so weigh up all the pros and cons of each site. I think @Mar has had problems with Siteground...not sure. The best ones are ...

SiteGround.
Inmotion Hosting.
HostGator Cloud.
A2 Hosting.

.. in my opinion. :)
Ok. Thank you for this. Been investigating since yesterday. Have to change but probably not right now. Purchased SSL today and used store credits. My store is working fine all old data are there. Do I still need to change the site URL in WordPress? Need guidance.

If you mean from http to https (After getting SSL) ... yes. Settings>General

Also go to Settings>Permalinks ... and click "Save"

Also write to support@alidropship.com and ask them to reset your plugin license from "http://yoursite.com" to https://yoursite.com" or your plugin won't work.

...unless I completely misunderstand what you are talking about.

Yes I got the ssl. Website works on https:// but in WordPress I haven't yet changed the site url to https. But it looks like I have to. I was trying to import a product and it didn't worked. Will have to change the site url in wp and ask for a new license. Thank you.

The permalinks won't they get autoupdated after I save it in general settings. Rightnow I am seeing the permalinks as non editable.
