QR codes in digital marketing campaigns

I wanted to share something that’s been working well for me lately, using QR codes in my dropshipping store. I recently read about how you can use QR codes in digital marketing, for things like tracking, quick access, and engaging customers more easily, and thought, why not try that myself? So I started by generating a QR code that links to a special discount page. I printed it on order receipts and added it to emails. It’s super simple, but I’ve noticed more people actually visiting the page and redeeming the offer. It feels more personal, like I'm giving them a little nudge to check something out. I also added a small automation: when someone scans and uses the QR code, I can log it in my Google Sheets and easily see which codes have been used. Saves time and keeps things tidy. Talking about a low-effort upgrade that makes my store feel more interactive, and I can track results more clearly, not to mention increasing the ROI.

I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried using dynamic QR codes lately? I've been testing them with retargeting in mind, so if the link changes after a promo ends, I don’t lose traffic. Curious to hear if anyone else has had success tracking conversions directly from QR scans—it’s tricky but seems promising.

I’ve started adding QR codes to my packaging and Instagram stories, and I’ve seen a bump in engagement, especially when linking to special promo pages. One thing I’ve been thinking about is how AI might shape how people search once they scan those codes. This piece really got me thinking: https://crowdo.net/blog/ai-search-where-are-we-what-can-we-do-about-it. Could change how we build landing pages linked to QR codes.

I am using dynamic codes, and the tracking works well with the generator I'm using. For marketing campaigns, they are a lot better option than the static ones, in my opinion.
