Price not updating according to rules

I have an item that is not updating the price properly and I have had to manually set it. That would be ok (to a degree) but it will automatically get set again to the wrong price. It is ignoring the rules.
I have the following rule
$1.00 < cost < $2.00 = 8.99 but it imports the product to around 15!

I had a different product and similarly that wouldn't import stock correctly.

Anything I am setting wrong? OK I can set manually the price so for products that don't work properly can I set a setting to ignore the automation that I WANT.

Hello, landed.

It's necessary to figure out why the pricing formula isn't applied to the product. Could you PM me your domain name, WP login details and the example of the product?
