'Order shipped' notification email

Hello,

I have 'Order shipped' notification enabled in Alidropship Woo.

Alidropship Woo doesn't change order status from Processing to Completed when tracking code is updated.
When I change status manually to Completed the same email is resent again to customer's email. (Because 'Order shipped' notification use the "Completed order" template that comes with Woocommerce).

I have a suggestion to create a standalone Email notification for 'Order shipped' notification (similar to ADSWoo Product Update Notification) that will be used by Alidropship Woo.

This will prevent sending 2 emails to customers and avoid reaching daily email sending limits.

Same issue for me, it should change the order status to completed upon updating the tracking number, OR we should be able to create an email template just for the AlidropshipWoo plugin which would be sent after tracking update, so that we could turn off the woocommerce "completed" email template, and email would not double.

I am not changing the order status to "completed" at woocommerce right now. Just syncing it, when tracking is updated it sends the notification email, so it doesn't send two emails, however all of the orders are "processing" even though they are completed already, which messes up the sorting status badly.

I think the second option makes more sense, to be able to create/customize an email template for shipped items because now the Alidropship plugin is using the Woocommerce completed email template, so we had to customize this template and change the text "Completed" to "Shipped", which is not a lot of work but I don't think this should be the way.

Here is my suggestion to improve the customer email notifications method:
1) First Email - After a customer made an order - this notification is working fine, the customer is getting a thank you email with the order details.
2) Second Email - After the item was shipped, it will sync automatically and send an email from the Alidropship plugin, not using the "Completed" email template. We will need an option to customize this email.
3) Third Email - After the item was delivered, it will sync with the Aliexpress status, if the status is "Delivered" then it will send another email from the Alidropship plugin, this email as well can be customized and not related to the Wocommerce order status.

* Changing the Woocommerce status to "Completed" should not send any email.
** An option to send the Shipped email notification again, in case the customer lost it.

For future update if there was an option to update the Woocommerce status automatically it would have been perfect, then we could know exactly what's the status of the order and which email was sent, but I understand for now this is not an option. :)

Any info? I know it's been only 2 days, but some things are crucial - being able to use sorting in Alidropship tracking tab, as it's not working now, and not sending double emails :(

When having over ~100-200 orders it's impossible to get through it, looking through 20 pages and syncing the tracking is really pain in the ass in that scenario...

Great to hear it!

And what about those double emails thing? If alidropship woo would change the order status to "completed" after updating tracking number, it would also make sense to sort by the "status" of the order :)

We promise to introduce the solution for this issue too. Please stay tuned.
