Multiple Variations question

Hello Yaros and all Alidropship team.

I have a question about multiple variations for a product.

Let's say we have 2 two variations for an item let's say a t shirt (see pic attached)

I have 1st variation : Model/picture associated

And 2nd variation sizes (S... to XXL)

Can the 1st picture variation show BEFORE selecting the 2nd one (Size) i.e allowing customer to see each model picture accordingly, without selecting 2nd variation (picture here).

From a UX standpoint it's really a no go as it is since customers will have naturally the tendency to click first on the pictures but if they don't click on the selected size below, they won't see any changes, so it may seem akward.

Variation almost works perfect with woocommerce now but i always have to select ALL variations to display the picture associated with variation 1 (picture/model).

The only workaroound i found was to assign 2nd variation to one fixed parameter (size) by default (XL in this example)

We fixed that issue before, please update to the latest version of plugin and try to reimport that product.

Hi Victoria. I already updated to latest version, please read more carefully my post. (already search the all the post about this, not exactly the same question).

So except assigning 2nd variation in woocommerce (size in this example) to a fixed value is there any turnaround ?

This is how woocommerce works. It attaches images to both variations.

ok forget about it you still didn't get my question.

I'll fixed second variation value for this, that's the only way i found so far.

Hi Arnaldo, i think i know what u r referring to. Same issue like mine. I have to select the size 1st before the color variations, or else the color image wont appear at the main image. Is that what u r talking about?

Yep exactly.

It's pretty minor thou. The only thing that bothers me is when you have a single unique size used by ali seller as a variation, or the "ship from china" variation.

With some creativity renaming these variations you can overcome this issue. I've made a post about how I do it in "suggestion forum".

Keep in mind, none of these issue should prevent anyone from selling if all the other jobs are done well ;-)
