Linked Products Feature Reqeust

Would it be possible to select the linked products (cross and upsells) from a category and have a random selection, so you don't have to add the linked products one by one anymore, and if that is not possible could it be possible that we can select more then one product at a time so that we don't have to do the same search over and over again?

I have requested this a while ago, it would be great if we even god have multiple choice, when you go over 100+ products ity is really a timesaver
