Hello ,

I bought the plugin a couple days ago and been busy reading and setting up my first store with much help from my wife .

We got 0 experience with D-shipping (and successful social media campaigns I might add) but I supported myself with the help of the Internet for more than 10 years (mostly Domaining, IM and Poker) so I am not totally clueless, we also sold on Ebay/Amazon for a while which will likely help us now but there are definitely still some learning curves ahead.

I will be updating this thread once in a while with stuff that worked for me and stuff that didn't, hopefully we can all learn from each other.

Goal #1: Sell my first product by the end of the year

Planning to launch the store some time next week.

Thanks guys , I am a bit behind with my timing. We have not launched the store yet so it's gonna be tight for goal #1, I need a couple things fixed first from the Plugin's end before I can start promoting the store which should happen beginning of next week.

We have loaded in 100+ products so far and keep adding a couple more while we wait. And also I will be beta testing the Woo-AD plugin so there is probably another store in the making sometime next week .

Hi, Dec. 31st here and I will definitely fail on goal #1 , have not launched the site yet because I want to see some updates to the plugin/theme first. I am not throwing money at this until I know everything works fine on the technical end and I will most likely be traveling for the next 1-2 months so I won't be able to get that much done during that time too, it looks right now that end of February seems to be a more realistic launch date for me which isn't all that bad since we will also be past the chinese new year situation. Who knows, I might catch some organic sales in the meanwhile hehe, I am building my social media stuff up while waiting.

I want to step away from playing poker as much as I can, have taken almost 2 months off now (had an even bigger break before but the stuff I tried didn't do too well) I got to make something work to pay the bills with IM or I will be a slave to poker for a long time ...

Yes avoid it if you can, poker makes me work as a slave like you said..
I just play it as a hobby now, I can't do even 1 more day playing 10h with 5 min break.. kill me

Alright, looks like the Chinese new year situation is almost over.

I am going to start promoting my store after the weekend, I will try a FB campaign first and see how it goes and take it from there.

Also landed a random sale (First Sale!!) about 2 weeks ago thru my IG account BIO link, which was nice and very unexpected... good sign! Think it was around a $6 profit but due to the Chinese new year situation it has still not shipped out lol, might turn into my first refund ...

Ready to launch this beast ...
