Ion Cube or Zendguard?

When I first purchased the plugin there was only one version...now I see there are two download options...ion cube and zend guard. What is the difference between the two and which one should I be using? My sites are hosted on hostgator if that makes a difference.

It depends on the hosting setting and installed modules. Some hosting provider use Zend Guard Loader to exec encoded scripts, but others use IonCube Loader for the same
