I am starting a new online store on WooCommerce but having some issues to figure out the payment gateways. As I understand, normally the online merchants are going with PayPal and one additional payment gateway. I am planning to do the same but problem is the choice of second payment gateway especially regarding location. Therefore, when I choose the payment gateway:
- Is it important where my bank account/card is issued?
and/or
- Is it important where will be my target audience coming from?
I have bank account/card in Latvia and Malta, both EU countries. I am targeting English speaking markets like USA, UK, Australia, Canada and others. Nevertheless, I would like to not refuse the customers from other countries/languages. Can you please advise me on which payment gateway would be suitable for my situation?
