How to find winning products for dropshipping?

When I try to find some winning dropshipping products, I use the following rules

First of all I check trends. I use Google Trends, TikTok and Instagram to see what people are talking about and what's trending right now. You also should do this cuz knowing the trends can boost your sales significantly

Next, I check what’s selling well on marketplaces at the moment. Usually I try to find what’s already popular on AliExpress, Amazon, and eBay

Also I follow the seasons. Think Christmas gifts, summer gadgets, or back-to-school items; these dropshipping products can be a goldmine if you sell it in the nick of time

I have some troubles with finding dropshipping products. Maybe someone can give me some tips on how to find dropshipping products?

You also should check product reviews. A product with tons of good reviews means people are happy with it, and that’s a great sign it’ll sell well. If you see a product with lots of sales but bad reviews, better skip it - no one wants to deal with refunds and complaints.

Another thing u should do is look for products with good profit margins. You don’t want to sell something that barely makes you any money. Find items that are cheap to source but can be sold at a higher price without scaring off customers.

Seasonal products for dropshipping are great, but if you want long-term success, try selling things that people buy all year round. Think about fitness gear, pet products, beauty tools, and home improvement items - these are always in demand.

Also you can spying on other dropshippers. Check their stores, look at their ads, and see what’s working for them. If they’re spending money on ads, the product is probably making sales!

I also want to add that niches like pet accessories, home improvement gadgets, or personal care products often perform well because they target everyday needs. The key is to find a balance: a niche with demand but not too much competition. When selecting dropshipping products, focus on items that solve a problem or bring value to customers.

I can easily tell that you're a newbie in dropshipping when looking at your reply :) First of all, I said that it's important to be PASSIONATE (not just like) about your buz and products you're selling. Growing your store is no easy deal, you have to spend lots of time, put in efforts and money, therefore it's crucial to like what you're doing. See what I'm talking about? It's not about sellimng dolls just because you like them, as you could falsely understand

Secondly, where have you read that selling luxury stuff, especially clothes is not profitable? Revenue in the luxury fashion market amounts to US$150.37 BILLIONS in 2025 and is expected to grow by 3% annually. Are those numbers small to you?) I don't think so. People love clothes and spend HUGE amount of money buying it. So please, don't distribute false information here. Branded clothes is a nice option, there are a few Sellvia products packs with branded clothes and footwear that are already proven to sell CRAZY good

Agreed on this one, selling fragile stuff it's really risky cuz it can break during shipment and you'll just get a bad review for your store. But for example sellvia almost doesn't have such products in its packs so it's safe to choose any of them

But I don't agree on delivery time, never faced such a problem. All of my sellvia orders are delivered to a customer within 2 days...

Hm.. shouldn't you worry about niches that you SHOULD choose? cuz now you're focusing on smth you shouldn't do instead of what you should, business doesn't really work this way. Sometimes you have to try out a few different niches to fined YOUR winning dropshipping products. For example when I started my sellvia store I chose one niche, but then I decided to switch and it was worth it
