How does the Stock Update

Hello, If I set the option to "AUTO UPDATE STOCKS" how does it update? Via cron job? Or I have to have my website open in the Aliplugin option?

Im asking this because everytime I import content to my site, Woocommerce gets really slow. Even tho I'm using a dedicated server.

Hello auto-update works via cron, but we recommend to use manual update , because sometimes ago AliExpress changed its security policy and your IP could be blocked if you set auto-update for a short period.
