How do i check if payment gateway is working properly

My Situation is this
i have one paypal account which i used in my website to receive payments. i can not use it test my website, i have no friend or family to test it for me. is there any other way it can be verified ?
PS: my google analytics shows a few "cart" page views but my alidropship dahsboard does not show any order.

Why bother your friends or family? You can test by buy yourself an item at your store using your credit card. Put the cheapest item and buy it. It is basically transfering your money from your cc to your paypal account. I did it few times to test my store. The only thing you have to consider is you need to make a new account using different username as customer.
