I wanted to share something I’ve been testing for the holidays. I put together a QR code discount campaign for my store, and honestly, it’s one of the easiest and most cost-effective ideas I’ve tried. I came across a stat that almost 50% of U.S. consumers have scanned a QR code for marketing or ads, and digital vouchers see much higher redemption rates than printed ones. Compared to paper coupons, QR ones are cheaper to run and way more convenient. They also allow detailed tracking. You can see redemptions in real time, personalize offers, and update them anytime without reprinting. And, of course, I want things to be super safe. I used the Uniqode generator, with a number of safety features. So, I’ve placed my QR codes on flyers, packaging, and emails, so customers can scan and redeem the discount instantly at checkout, either online or in-store. I’m excited about this because it feels tangible and measurable (instead of just “throwing out a coupon”).
