Fake User Account

Fake accounts were being created on my site. I have the google api recaptcha enabled but still getting fake users added. Is there a bug?

Yesterday I got like 17 fake users, the day before about 16, no orders, no add to cart, just users appearing on my site. They are fake and easy to spot because they all have 4 numbers after their username, like ajax0071988, dgardner1967, eddyniso1984, etc...

My site is not even openly promoted yet, still in the planning phase, but if this were to continue, I cannot use the email marketing function due to these fake email addresses. What do you think is the issue?

Got a spam report from aol.com for sending an email confirmation to the fake accounts.

Thank you Direct Webstore, I installed Cerber plugin and turned on the Anti-Spam protection - Protection Registration Form with bot detection engine and haven't had a fake account since.
