Dear friends, I am in the process of opening a new alidropshipping store. I was wondering as a EU citizen what are my obligations concerning the volume of sales and my income. Can anyone tell me:
*After which volume of sales am I obliged to have a VAT account, and at which country?
*What are the fees of PayPal transactions and what are the problems faced with PayPal withdrawals?
* Are there any obligations I need to know concerning invoicing, income tax and other EU restrictions on sales?

Waiting for your answers...

If your sales within the EU exceed €10,000 annually, you will be obligated to register for VAT. You can either register in your home country or use the One-Stop Shop (OSS) to manage VAT for all EU sales. Regarding PayPal, their transaction fees typically range around 2.9% + a fixed fee, but the fee may increase for international transactions. As for PayPal withdrawals, common issues include delays or account restrictions due to security checks or missing documentation. If you're looking for help with accounting and tax-related matters, you might want to consider outsourcing your accounting services. Check out https://www.simplysolved.ae/outsource-accounting-services/ for more information on outsourcing your accounting needs. In terms of invoicing and income tax, you’ll need to issue invoices that comply with local regulations, including your VAT number if applicable. You must also report your income and pay taxes according to the rules of your country, so be sure to consult with a tax advisor for specific obligations. Additionally, keep in mind that each EU country may have different restrictions on sales, so it’s important to be aware of those.
