Error establishing a database connection

Today, my site is returning this error "Error establishing a database connection". My WP admin page is as well. Can someone assist? I cannot log into my site.

My site is now available. I performed a database repair in the cPanel. It was either that or someone on the hosting side helped. Thanks!

I used to have problems with the data base. Try the Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions plugin. It is taking care of my data base. You can set it to optimize your data base daily and forget about it.
