Do I need to sign up with Alipay?

Sorry but I'm a bit confused on the very first step.
What kind of account do I need to order products for drop-shipping from Aliexpress?
Do I need a FREE account? Do I need a Alipay account?
I clicked through on Alipay and found that they want a truckload of personal information including a copy of my SS card and drivers license. Is this required to do business?

You don't need "Alipay". However, Alipay is used to process your credit card payment. But just to be clear, once you create an Aliexress account, you'll automatically have Alipay account.

As for the information, you don't have to provide these but if they ask you, then you must provide it to continue purchasing.

Can I ask one more question please? Let me create an example: Say I have three sales of $10 each; a total of $30. That's one sale apiece from three different suppliers. When I pay will I make three separate payments of $10 or just one payment for the total of $30?

If I understood right, then you'll be making 3 separate payments.
