I wonder how some of you more experienced dropshippers are preparing for the upcoming Chinese New Year?

For my understanding, they do not work nearly for a whole month, starting on February 8th.

What time is right to place a banner informing the extra long shipping times?

Do you stop advertising or taking orders at some point?

I like to know too. I will put info on my store but I will be happier if the plugin has option that you can put a front page that says your store is temporarily closed or in maintenance like on Shopify.If you understand what I mean.

As i understand the holidays start around 20th january and last to the beginning of february.

Chinese post offices will be closed for 12 days. I recommend that you inform your clients about a more long delivery time during these holidays.
