Check Price and Set quantity to 0 or set to draft if price rise

hey,
due to different shipping costs to my country and prices in competitive stores, I set prices manually for each product separately. Can the plugin check prices on aliexpress and inform me about changes, and prevent customers from purchasing the product until it changes the price in my shop?
There is only "do nothing" or "update automatically" in price section. There could be also "set quantity to 0" or "send to draft"
Or is it / will be possible to set a price formula per product?
thanks for your time and reply

Hello, MichalM!

The plugin checks the prices on AliExpress when you start a Product Update, but it doesn't inform you if select 'Do Nothing' in the settings.
It can't prevent your customers from purchasing the product until it changes the price in your shop.

There is only "do nothing" or "update automatically" in price section. There could be also "set quantity to 0" or "send to draft"

We will discuss this with our developpers.

Or is it / will be possible to set a price formula per product?

Now it's impossible.

Thank you for your time.
Could you tell me please one more thing.
I would like to set up free+shipping in price rules. So every product with price under 2$ costs 0$ in my store.
Is there a way to show also discount in free items? For example I would like to show "standard" price from ali multipled by 3. And special price = 0$
thanks.

One more question:
is there a way to force same price for every variation when prices are updating?
Sometime there is little difference in price between colors, so I always choose higher price just to simplify it for my customers.
It looks also much better in woocommerce shop.
thanks

You can edit the sale / regular prices manually, then they will be displayed in the following way:

You should go to a product -> product options -> variations and set a regular / sale price for all variations in the dropdown menu.

When I set up price formula to make automatically product cost 0, price is saved in regular price field, not sale price field.
So I have to switch it to sale price, and make regular price for example 29$ to show to my costumers that it's special offer. Correct?
Everything is alright until price autoupdate. It makes regular price 0 again and clean sale price.

Without a regular price crossed out, we lose a strong psychological factor, don't you think?
In the case of a large assortment, it is not possible to manage this manually.

The way to do this should imo look like that:
1. I set up as usual my markup formula.
2. In "Discount settings" there should be additional checkbox "make it free" which shifts calculated price to regular price field, and set up sale price to 0.
I hope you understand my way of thinking.

Same with variations, after price autoupdate its messy again. There could be also a checkbox - "in case of variations take automatically the highest price and set it to all variations".

Could you please discuss this with your developpers?

Well, I see. That's how the pricing formula works.
Now you can do it manually only and disable auto-update to prevent price changing.
