changing supplier amidst processing order for customer

Hi everyone,​

I am currently using Alidropship woo plugin.
When a customer place order, the order will go to alidropship orders in wordpress dashboard.
And the order will be sent to Aliexpress to complete the final purchase.

This is all good stuff and ease our work.

But my question is, what if I found another supplier who is selling exactly the same product, but is much cheaper... and I want to buy from this supplier instead for my customer.

In this scenario, how do I go about and what is your advise?

I am guessing the most obvious way is to import the product from the new supplier and trash your old one. But under the woo section on the product page there is a 'Supplier' tab that has the URL of the product. Although the variants and things could mess up just by switching out the product and supplier locations so I think it would be best just to import the new product completely.
