Can't activate Ioncube version

Hi, I read the email about the transition away from Zend Guard and to only Ioncube. Today I tried to install it but couldn't. Wordpress gave me the following error:

Fatal error: The file /home/*****/wp-content/plugins/alidswoo/core/core.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0

I checked my phpinfo.php and I'm running PHP Version 5.6.31 and Ioncube PHP Loader 4.7.5, so I don't understand why this doesn't work; do you have any ideas?

I checked if I can use later versions of PHP and the installations of 7 and 7.1 that my host provides do not use Ioncube; only 5.6. And there is no option to load Ioncube; I have no control over possible extensions.

I have php 7.1 and it is working. just try it. php 7 is also faster....

I did try it, and Ioncube is missing for me from 7 and 7.1. It's only available for 5.6, but Wordpress keeps complaining it is not the latest version, even though it is Ioncube version 4.7.5.

Nevermind, I got in touch with my hosts and they added the latest version of IonCube to PHP 7. The plugin has activated and I'm all good.
