I don't think there's really an answer that will suit everyone.
It depends on your niche, for one - what are your competitors selling the item for? You don't want to be way more expensive than them, unless you're offering something really exceptional as well. Ideally you would try to sell it for less then your competitors.
Secondly, it depends on your costs. Do you have to pay sales tax/income tax? Factor that in.
If you want to be really anal about it, you could decide what you want to earn per hour, and divide that by the amount of sales and minutes per sale that an order would take you, but that will be mostly guesswork unless your store is really established and you have a steady stream of sales already
