Anyone actually compare Sellvia's built-in ad results against running their own campaigns manually?

Been using the automated ad system since I started and it's been consistent, but I have zero visibility into what's actually happening behind the scenes - which audience, which creative, none of it. Curious if anyone has tried switching to self-managed campaigns after a few months on autopilot, and whether the extra control was worth losing the "just works" simplicity. Not looking to switch immediately, just weighing whether the tradeoff is worth exploring once I have more of a baseline to compare against.

tried this exact switch around month five. lost some efficiency for the first couple weeks relearning targeting myself, evened out eventually but it took longer than i expected to match what the automated system was already doing

the visibility tradeoff is real but i'd say think hard about whether you actually want to spend time managing campaigns versus just wanting to see the data out of curiosity. those are different motivations with different answers
