Aliplugin settings won't save in database

I'm testing cloning my site. If I download a copy of my database ... then delete the database ... make a new one ... then import my downloaded backup ... all the settings in the Aliplugin and Theme are gone. It's all back to the stock settings! The email address in the header, all the stuff in the footer, certain theme colors etc. Pretty much everything in the "Customization" section.

I've tried this several times. Is it really impossible to make a simple database backup of my Alidropship store?

EDIT: Just did a complete re-install of WP, AliDS and theme. Made a couple of changes, backed up database, deleted it, restored it ... and now the changes are sticking. No idea what was wrong before. Maybe a cache issue ... but I did not clear the browser cache with my latest try.

Forget it.

I had this problem when I moved my store from a testing server to the live server. I had to re-do everything in the customization area. Its a bit of a pain in the butt actually.

Yes ... I've since discovered it only happens when I move the backed up site to a new domain, not when I "restore" it to the same domain. I can't find the settings for "Customization" in the database ... so I'm starting to think they are stored on Alidropship's server along with your plugin license key.
