Could you think bout implemeting option to choose how many products could be shown per page, the default is 20 ( can not be changed). I want there to be 9 products but with bigger images, it will be more user friendly and attention grabing

I want to disable related products/cross sale option in single product template. It would be cool if the related products could be shown below the product description, but if there is no option like this I prefer for them to not show at all. What to do?
