I’m looking to move beyond diagrams on paper. I’m planning to design a full house or two in the coming year. I’ve used AutoCAD in the past but it looks like the world has moved beyond that. I’d like something that can create 3D renders and I also want to be sure it is flexible enough to deal...

Perpetual exchange can still generate stable revenue even if the market slows down. Here's how: Trading fees: Constant volume from leverage-based positions. Funding rates: Stable returns are added by balancing long and short holdings. Variety of products: Including features like copy...

I've got a couple of outer doors that need the door seal, or what I always called weather stripping, replaced. This one video I found is not exactly what I'm looking for because the one door opens inward, I think it is wood, and opens over carpet. The other door is the front storm door and...

A detailed Node.js workflow was shared for uploading files to Shopify’s Files API: create a staged upload target with stagedUploadsCreate, post multipart form data to the returned temporary storage URL, then register the asset in Shopify with fileCreate. The thread fills gaps in Shopify’s...

Whether you’re looking to purchase equipment, expand, manage cash flow, recruit staff or take advantage of a new opportunity, the right funding can help you move forward.

Hello, am trying to setup a new Limited company with a business partner. We will need a registered company address that's not our home address. i see you can get some cheap ones online that scan and email post to you for about £20 a year. Is there any downside to this? I note it says something...

Trying something new in my 40's and working out weekly instead of occupying the bar stool. I'm about 2 months in and feel I'm starting to learn the correct ways to do things and I am beginning to add more weight to workouts and push my cardio harder. But damn, I always very sore. I am trying...

I thought I would dust off these pieces I cut for Halloween last year. Last year I scattered them around my garage. This year I put them in my little home office.

Back in 2020 when I moved into my new house, I noted that there was water collecting in the middle of the yard. It was 100% dirt at this point and the builder did their own “grading”. Wish I’d known this wasn’t an adequate job, or at least something about yard drainage. They “hand raked” this...

Need to have the main panel replaced in mom's house. Anyone worked with or can recommend a residential electrical company in the Gresham or Clackamas area you would do business with?

We had an electrician come to our home today to check out an issue with our electrical panel. While here, we had them replace the keypad device outside our garage door because our old one didn't work anymore. Also, we have three vehicles and two garage door openers in our cars so we had them...

This is gonna be a catch-all thread for my griping about my GC and the process but also to keep it from being a complete dumpster fire I'll talk about the stuff that I took on myself that I'm pretty happy with. On the gripes, I'm fully aware that all of this has "first world problems" written...

Hello everybody. I'm new to the forum and wondered whether anyone could help me with a question that might help my dad (and my mum). Dad has Lewy Body Dementia which gives him symptoms similar to Parkinson's. His mobility is severely restricted. He also has a bad back which restricts his...
