Simply because people find it hard to trust a Chinese website, like AliExpress. They generally think that stuff that is cheaper and available on Aliexpress is a fake, counterfeited version of the original, and possibly harmful to use.

Does that mean that your own products must be added manually, and not by editing an aliexpress imported product?

Happens to me too. It's really annoying The Abandoned Cart plugin does the same, so even if I leave it activated, some of my abandoned cart customers never get the email series sent to them because the plugin gets deactivated on its own
