Hi,

I made a sale. Item has been shipped. But a few days later, he wrote me, saying he gave me the wrong shipping address (his old address where he used to live). He gave me his current address also, and he is asking if can (re)send the product to his current address.
It's a 10 usd item..
What would you do?

thnks,
Paul

I would be honest. It's really his fault for not giving the correct address. I would let him know that the item has already shipped and you are unable to cancel the order. Why should you have to eat the money, when it wasn't your mistake? Yeah, he might get upset, but how do you know they aren't trying to pull one over on you.

How far apart are the two addresses? Was the sale made in the US? If he lives in the US, he can easily fill out an address forwarding form with the post office and have all his mail forwarded to the new address. If you have the tracking #, you might be able to get the package re-routed to the new address by contacting the mail carrier or the person who shipped it may have to do it for you.
